More Stoney Lake beauty.

The shots that look like they were at night were taken around midnight. The moon came up and offered a beautiful glowing light for the long exposures.

Sigma 50mm f1.4

So I also picked up the fairly new Sigma 50mm f1.4 lens. Despite my troubles finding a good copy for my 5dMkII, I finally found one that is absolutely steller. I’d used a friend’s before, but now I’m completely sold on this lens. Here’s some shots I had fun with at f1.4. Combined with the 5D’s new ISO capabilities, I feel a whole new world of hand-held photography has been made available via new technology. Fun!!

New camera!

Just picked up the 5D MkII and I’m having a blast! Here’s an extremely friendly squirrel who was taking nuts right from my hand.

The park at Riverdale Farm

Bluffs at night

There was a massive light for a film that was lighting the beach and Scarborough bluffs. I took a couple shots on a tripod. I’m not sure what it is, but I love big rigs.
